Side 2 teaches you to See Both Sides. Unfortunately, we normally see things from our point of view, which is narrow and closed minded. When you change your perspective and see things from the other person's point of view you will develop understanding and expand your knowledge.
Study things from different viewpoints, (good vs. bad, cost vs. return, long term vs. short term benefits, and so on).
Benjamin Franklin would make important decisions by weighing his options. He would divide a sheet of paper and place the pros (good) on one side and the cons (bad) on the other. This would allow him to visually balance both sides and help him make a well thought out (wise) decision.
When you record or write down your thoughts you give birth to documents which represent Organized Thought™.
Side 2 helps you to develop understanding, thereby bringing clarity of thought, and increased confidence in your decisions. The confidence you gain will empower you. It will give you the strong drive required to be persistent and accomplish your goals.
If you are seeing both sides you had to divide because you are only capable of studying one side at a time. No matter how big the tasks or problems you face, they can be subdivided into 2 or more smaller parts. Therefore, two also teaches that when a task is too big, subdivide it into a more manageable size and then invest your Brain Time™ into that portion. You will solve the problem, if not divide again.
